  1. That sig is quite huge! I can go to BB to hear the Alpines, but no one around me carries the Rockfords. I like it clean but not harsh. Ive' heard the Alpines one time before but never the Rockfords, so I'm stuck in the middle.
  2. Bought an amp from him Tuesday and its sitting in my lap right now!! Quick shipping! A+++
  3. BUMP! What other components are good for about the same price? Need something I can hear over my exhaust.
  4. Someone must be able to help me. Bump
  5. I need to decide which components to run. Either Alpine SPR-17S or Rockford T162S. The amp is going to be a T600-4. I can get the Alpines for about $130 and the Rockfords for $170. I want something that sounds natural, not to harsh on the high end, and with good mid bass. Also any other suggestions are welcome.
  6. Def make sure they hooked it up right. Thats how customer service works
  7. Sounds like something is wired wrong. Might want to make sure everything is hooked up the right way.
  8. If you make a new box 34W X 14T X 18D with a 3" wide port that would make it 3.45ft^3 at ~35Hz.
  9. That still is only 2.4ft^3 before port displacement. How much wider and deeper could you make the box?
  10. At the most that box is 3ft^3. If you want ported you should build a new box that is as deep as one of the corners all the way across. How deep is the box at one of the front corners?
  11. Is it a wedge shape? Deeper at the bottom than the top? The CVR12"s need minimum of 1.75ft^3 + port displacement (quoted from their manual). That box would be good for 1 of them ported, but not 2. For 2 you would need MINIMUM 3.5ft^3 + port displacement.
  12. Depending on subs trying to port that box is useless. Its 2.0 ft^3 sealed. 2ft^3 is the usually the volume for ONE sub ported, usually. What brand and model are the subs?
  13. Why not the CVXs? I think 6 CVX 15"s off of 3 ZX2500.1s would be killer!!
  14. Bibby, mine is exactly like that minus the chick, the scope, and the hi-cap mag. Most hi-cap mags for the SKS jam horribly. Just keep the 10 rnd and get a shit load of stripper clips. I actually have 3 SKS's one folding synthetic stock and the other 2 wooden.
  15. You have a bad set of RCAs if when you wiggle them it gets louder. The Scosche kit from Wal-Mart is complete shit. Hit up Best Buy and grab a Rockford set, 16 ft. for $10. Also don't ever buy any audio equipment from Wal-Mart, unless its a pioneer H/U or monster cable wiring.
  16. I have an SKS with that exact stock and its amazing! Here in Texas all capacities are legal, but not sure about anywhere else. I use it open sight for deer hunting and it shoots very accurate. I took 2 does last year with it.
  17. Pull an Assman and put a bedcap on and build your wall/blow through, but leave enough room behind the wall for the air ride!!
  18. I'm thinking that you just couldn't see them dimming during the daytime; and because, well, dark is dark you could see them dimming.
  19. 2 ohms is good for the punch series. I want to see how this turns out because I am looking to do the same in my 'burban.
  20. What are you talking about? I have a 4 gauge dual amplifier wiring kit included in the price, comes with RCAs and everything else. Spend another $200 (total is $946.23) on a radio and whatever is left (about $50) use for the box.
