If you do decide to build your own, which you should, make sure you get EVERYTHING you need the first time around. If not you'll be stuck waiting for parts, and waiting is no fun. I think that everyone should know how to build a computer because then they know exactly what they are getting for their money, not just paying for a name slapped onto shit parts.

You don't need that box to trick the radio. The brake switch is a ground, not a 12V+. All you have to do is ground the brake wire from the radio.

It would put out between 4000-4500 RMS, which should be plenty of power, as long as your electrical can stand up to it.

My experience with it is good. Didn't stink, stuck to everything (getting it out of your leg hairs is a bitch), and was very easy to apply. I didn't put any on the roof so I don't know how it does up there. If nothing else its good for the floors and below the window line.

If your talking about the SoloX18 you'll need something like a T40001BD or a pair of the ZX2500.1 (if you get the dual 2 ohm model) to power that beast. Clicky!

eDead V1 works. Its not as good as Dynamat but LOTS cheaper. Just buy 240ft^2 and do one layer, then with what is left over do another. I put 120ft^2 in just the rear well of my buddies Camaro (an area about 5ft X 6ft) and it made a huge difference. Maybe try the eDead V2.

I wouldn't think the ignition would go out that soon. If you can't get it working tap into something that works or wire a switch that you have to flip to turn the radio on.

Does the radio come on when you turn the truck on? Check for blown fuses at the factory fuse block and on back of radio.

I tried one on my Infinity's in a ported box tuned to 30hz and it sounded like crap. Too much port noise, and it wouldn't go as low as both in the sealed box. I want LOW bone crushing bass. People can already hear me from about a mile away right now.

Here is a shot of my system. Note the DVD player! The absolute most airspace I have in the rear is ~3 cu.ft. The sensitivity of the AudioBahns is 96, and the sensitivity of those REs is 83, what affect will this have on how they sound?

That is where I was planning on getting the amp from, HDA. Its $575+ shipping. I would rather stay away from those power hungry Fi's and there isnt enough room for a ported box. I was considering a pair of Audiobahn AW1206T's with a RF T20001BD but I wanted to see if there is some more "bang" for my buck out there. Looking to spend around $1000 for subs and amp. I know for sure I want a RF amp though. So what are ya'lls thoughts?
