I have sent 2-3 emails last week and the week before with no response. In not complaining at all I know you guys are busy but I was just wondering what options I have for my 91 c1500 with a 5.7 I will be running an 18v system and keeping my stock alt to run the truck and only use the secondary Alts for my bass amps I am going by a metal

shop tomorrow to see if they can fab me up a dual bracket to fit where my ac compressor goes what i need is enough charging for 2 sundown NS-1s I got a quote from mike singer for a 330a that does 200a at idle (12v ratings) for 435 shipped I would happily pay more for a mechman unit (within reason)

because of the amazing customer service and the adjustable voltage regulator I priced some with dc aswell but they are just way too much for me like 1200 for a single alt no thanks

if you know nothing about them or the installation process i wouldnt recommend trying it is best to watch someone do it a couple times so you get an idea of the process before trying one yourself i am pretty good with cars and wiring and stuff like that and i tried to put in my viper 5901 in my 91 c1500 (which you probably couldnt find an easier vehicle to do the install on) and all of the wires are still under my dash in a rats nest

charging 16 isnt that bad running a 16v system on the other hand (charging 18v) is hell for a cars elec system

I have always been a loyal sundown customer but I am more than respectful to all that run dc matter of fact 2 of the most violent systems I have ever heard have been dc setups part of the reason being I have only heard 1 other sundown setup besides mine chodes durangho is retarded loud and the 2 lvl 6s on 12k that I heard would straight up rip your head off
