so like if i was to use line x bed liner it would work?
-
ok so i called my buddy today that owns a very respectable shop around here and all the workers no what they are talking about its not just like some bs shop like others but i called today asking if they had any sound deadner they didnt have any in stock but we got to talking and stuff and he was like you know that spray on sound deadner is just bed liner and sound deadner just really add mass to the car ......so is this true?
-
then no i wouldnt do it because the rms on these subs are 400
400x4=1200
but you could run them at 500 but thats still only 2000
i would not run them with that if it does do rated power...
-
does that amp do rated power?
-
i feel like hes yelling at me.........

that's prob dependent on the guy doing the cuts i assume??? if all else fails screw it ill save up for a table saw
its not the guy doing the cuts its the machine but its very slight i think my local home depot told me it was are 1/16inch off

Disconnect the RCA's, turn it on. If there is no more noise it's your RCA's if the noise persists, it's more than likely your ground.
ok i did that....but idk if that is going to tell me anything because all my speakers are hooked to the amp so i dont see how i would hear the noise if i unplugged them.....but i unplugged the rcas and there was no noise at all ....also i cleaned the rcas and hooked them up but now its very very little static but the music is hardly playing at all its like at level 2 when i have it turned up to 30.... subs work perfect and dont make noise and the rcas for them are ran right next to each other so idk what is going on........ also when i give it gas it makes a winding up nosie idk what could be causing this
ground is perfect i just redid it its flat on bare metal, everything is wired to a second battery in the back and everything is secure so plz is there anything else that could be the problem or how can i fix this!!!!!!!
-
Are your RCA's ran next to the power cable?
no they are on opposite sides of the car... but where the amp racks meet they are close.......im going to run out there and flip it around and see if thats my problem
-
If you do 2 wires and terminal it down to one, make sure you have the correct impedance that you want
whats impedance ....sorry
-
i will for sure next time cuz this is just pissing me off i took the box out to do a new amp rack and stuff got it all back in and this damn things will not go in at all! and on top of this my damn rcas are staticy as fuck and i cant figure out why!
-
can i just twist the 2 wires together and put it in a connector and crimp them then just run a single wire to the termial?

ok im really getting pissed off with my speaker wire because i have it wired up and i have to put 2 pos. into the hole and 2 neg. into the hole is there any other way or better way then just twisting them together and shoving them in there because it a bitch to get in and im tired of doing it!

ok today i was at rockys sub pub in Jeffersonville, Indiana right by Louisville and me and my girl friend were eating outside and out of no where some girl JUMPED OFF 2ND STREET BRIDGE!!!! it was fucking nuts!!!! EVERYONE in the restaurant and outside ran to the edge of the river and was watching it was like thunder over lousiville if anyone is familiar with that thats how many people were watching i would say at least 3 4 hundred!!! so she jumped and LIVED!!! then so when she hit the water she started kicking and yelling then she went under water to drown herself! so when the cops got there prolly 10 15 cop cars they jumped in with inflatable boats and cop boats were coming up the river and she wasnt getting in the boat and was fighting them ......once they finally got her in the boat she stood up and started waving to everyone at the edge watching her
IT WAS NUTS I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!
(i have a picture of the boats and stuff ill upload in a little bit!!)

no lol im not retarded lol they are all the same
ill put them all on the same brand/model amps too
-
well could i do 4 12s ported my trunk is really small my exact specs(max) for my trunk are 35 1/2 inches front to back , 38 1/2 in side to side and 16 inches high. all the subs have to be facing up because thats the only way they fit without hitting the sides. this is with the carpeting is still inside the trunk so if i take it out it might give me a inch or so

ok im saying my box thats in the car right now is for 4 12s each of the 12s are in different chambers so basically they are all single 12 inch boxes with the same top and bottom piece... so i was wondering if i got 2 more single 12 inch boxes that are the same specs as each of the chambers in my box now would it sound the same or would the subs hit at different times
-
ok, so i was jw my box now is 4 12s sealed with all independent chambers all 1.5 cubic foot so what im asking is that if i made (2) single 12 box sealed to the same specs as the different chambers would it sound the same or would the subs be off??
sound deading question
