the new box will be built out of 3/4 MDF like my last box and will be screwed/glued together cut out by a skill saw and it will have 4 Precision Port 6" aero ports I bought from Parts Express(these things are huge)the box tuning will be 32 hz
9.8 cubes internal volume
ALL corners have 45's we used corner mold from Lowes
the back wall seen through the ports will be black(we added black paint the resin and I'll be adding a SKAR decal so when you look through the ports you can see it)
also from Parts Express I ordered the black bar grills to protect my subs(me and my two sons travel alot)
there will be a 1/2" galvanized pipe(stripper pole) to help my SKARS "perform" lol it will be secured w/carriage bolts top and bottom the top bolts will be exposed for show
the box will be painted w/grey flecstone paint
the amp will "float" on the back of the box"
the top will be two layers and the subs will be recessed
the ports are pressure fit in w/resin for a seal and will have fiberglas chop mat to help strengthen them
this box will be bolted to the frame just like my last box
we've taken our time on this box to get it done right(me and my brother from another mother Hugh E. Rection you're right bro we make a great team)
I bought 40 feet of 8 gauge power wire for the subs all wires cut equal length(I did this over two episodes of CSI Miami
