    Yes sir, good luck to ya! I too have a dream, similar to yours. I just want to be a shop owner, and make an honest living doing what I love. I don't even care about getting rich, I just know my heart would be in it all the way. So to see you pursuing your dream is a good thing, and I wish you the very best of luck! Hell who knows, maybe one day I'll be selling your subs in my store! :clapping:

    You know, if each person were to post on here where/who they send the camera to, then we could actually keep track of it and possibly get it back to Steve... Just a thought.

    I will be running a 5k to each of my Xls

    I thought so... Damn it man!

    There are a few people out there that run that much power to xls i mean honestly rob had a ab1100.1 on one xl when he first got the crx haha didnt last too long, i had strapped 3.5s on an xl for a while, and there is some other people whos names escape me that have either 9.0s or extremely simular amps on 2 xls.

    I ran a 9k to a pair for a season. With my experience I'm trying to get away from overpowering that much to save some cost on the eventual re-cones.

    Yeah that's what I was thinking... That's why I'm only gonna give 2 XL 18's a single 5K, cause yeah they will handle it, but for how long? I'd like mine to last for a while...

    A port for 4 12s is going to be a lot bigger than you think. Be it a ported or 4th order.

    If you do it right, it's not really permanent, it could be un-done. Have you ever seen what some of the body shops have to do to fix some of the wrecked vehicles?

    Just sayin, don't be so scared to cut it up... Later on if you decided you wanted it back to original, it could be done.

    If they can replace the entire roof after a roll over, and know one notice, then surely they could fix a cut-out in the back of the cab...

    OK so im planning on putting a saz1200 on two sa 8's, if there is no devider in the box, how do i wire the subs to a 1ohm if its a mono amp but has 2 speaker outputs?

    PLEASE HELP!

    Okay, to start with, it's a mono amp, therefor you would want a single chamber, single port.

    And the two speaker outputs are so you can run more than one positive and negative, if you need to.

    They don't all have to be used. The 2 positives are the same, and the negatives are the same.

    To get the wiring your looking for, wire the positives together on each sub, then the negatives on each sub.

    Then your positive from the amp goes to one of the positives on each sub, and the same with the negative.

    Negative from the amp to one of the negatives on each sub.

    And then you should be wired to 1 ohm. Hope this helps.
