Correct, dual 1 vc and I guess I could do that, I don't necessarily need a bass knob or mind using two of them lol, but if someone could tell or show how I could properly wire the subs if they were strapped that'd be cool

I will soon be the proud owner of a pair of PAI 3000.1 amps and need to know the proper way to wire them up. They will not be linked but instead running at .5 ohm each, one amp per sub. I know that if you were to link them you could run them in master/slave mode and use a single rca to jump between the amps. But since i'm not linking the amps to run them together at 2 ohm, am i still able to jump the rcas in the master/slave fashion or should i just run a rca splitter and a second rca cable to the second amp?

Id say ur good, just secure it properly and make sure it won't ground out the pos terminal on anything and ur good

Gotcha, Welp the knu is bigger but I know that kicker is already bigger than oem spec 4 ga or their 1/0 so u don't necessarily need to get bigger than kicker but its up to u and pricing

I've used mdf and birch, ill never go back to mdf again. Lighter, stronger, doesn't get destroyed when it gets wet, less dust, when u sand it won't gum up the paper. Def worth the money but before you buy it at a big chain store like lowes or home depot or wherever OS local, check the contractors lumber yards. They are usually cheaper and better quality.
