azngangster2002 Posted September 9, 2011 Report Share Posted September 9, 2011 Hey guys, I bought this stock coupe in April earlier this year and had a few plans. I wanted it to have a decent sound system, look slammed as fuck, and become my daily driven and occasional drift car. 1st was to transfer over all the audio equipment from my former car. 2nd was to drop in some coils, slam the shit out of it, and replace the stock arms to correct the suspension geometry. 3rd was to convert to the Silvia front end and paint it myself. I knew when I bought the car that I had to fab a custom enclosure since there is like 10" of vertical space in the trunk when closed due to the torsion bars. Also, the box had to be removeable in case I wanted to drift. And please, any criticism is highly appreciated as I am still learning about car audio and it was my 1st time doing most of this stuff. Hella ghetto rigged. When I upgrade to 6" components, I will do it right. Still waiting for the day when I can upgrade these electronics. I kept getting caught jacking off in the backseat so I sewed up some curtains LOL At this point, it was still monster truckin and the headlights were shit. So I installed some 55 Watt 6000 Kelvin HIDs. And then my coils arrived! it was time to slam this bitch Silvia front looked decent when I picked it up. This xmas I hope to get some 6" component speakers to improve my front sound stage. What brands what you guys recommend to a budget minded college student? Thanks in advance.
