stroupe79
i was trying to find out how i should design an L-ported box for a RE 18"...I have not been able to find any info on how to design the port..i know its not recommended to do sealed enclosure(all i have had before)..but there is nothing to tell you what dimensions are needed to make it sound correct have 44" of width...24" of depth...and 14" of height to work with...which will give me roughly a 6.7 cubic foot box..(minus sub displacement) width of port opening be?..depth should it be?...length of the "L"? any help would be greatly appreciated.. http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
bigmescan
What vehicle is this going in. If its a trunk car you will have to face the sub face up. If I'm reading the dimensions right. Facing up in a trunk is not a good way to go. 412 CVX
yeah you don't have enough space to run an 18 in that space. if you could go a few inches higher, then you would be much better off Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.
