Miguels
i seen how they did one and they used camaro headers so it can clear the frame my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
boom50cal
If those headers don't work out, you might want to try a set of c6 'Vette exhaust manifolds like the ones below. A lot of LS swap guys that stick the motors in like RX-7's and 240SX's...small shit....use them because they are so compact. Junior Russell
why not just get an edelbrock intake and super charger for it very nice clearance btw any plans for side rails like on the 49? edit also edelbrock has their new "pro-flo xt with throttle body" looks a lot like the lq4's intake but better http://www.youtube.c...e1?feature=mheehttp://www.stevemead...87#entry1993187 JVC KD-R530 head unit VVME INNO-D1500 sub amp Kenwood KAC-8402 amplifierPioneer 2-way 6.5 X2 @ 4 ohms DTI Audio 6.5 X2 @ 4 ohmsbox: 4.24 ft^3 tuned to 61 hertz (port walls fell off and dissapeared )
down2earth
why not just get an edelbrock intake and super charger for it very nice clearance btw any plans for side rails like on the 49? edit also edelbrock has their new "pro-flo xt with throttle body" looks a lot like the lq4's intake but better I want to keep it fuel injected and I like the look of the ls6 intake I would love to supercharging but I really don't wanted to spend 7 k on the supercharger but I was looking at a harrop intake I think that would look sick under the hood of the truck so I don't kno which way I'm going to go yet my 1949 ford f-1 build log http://www.stevemead...running-boards/ my 1981 crew cab dually bagging and body dropping http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/132672-bagging-and-body-dropping-a-81-crew-cab-dually/page__st__100
jk13
Between this and your 49 build one thing's for certain--you're not afraid to go all-in! Quality work. Fun to watch. Static drops are my bag.
boom50cal
Turbo it! There's a guy over on one of the LS forums with an AWD Silvy SS that tows a 12,000lb trailer with a stock motor and a 72mm turbo at 10psi, additional radiator, and some other upgraded cooling parts.
