Xplorer
http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20071...authorized.html Cliff Notes: You buy a CD and copy it to your PC so you can put it on your iPod. Then the RIAA sues your for copyright infringement Also, I didn't know where to put this. Mods, if it's in the wrong section, please move it. Twigz
thats bull shit. will this crap ever end lol, wtf be more concerned bout more important shit, if we didnt have technology, all those rich stupid fucking artists wouldnt have shit. half of em got known by fucking people burning and ripping and downloading their shit. my brother has i dunno how many songs on his computer, but he always buys their cd if he likes them. he downloads a couple of songs to see if he likes the band, than he buys the cd. thats not ILLEGAL. people got shit up their asses 24-7 these days. thats why I love psychopathic records, they encourage us to bootleg their shit, and distribute it, and download it. they don give fuck bout copy rights, and all that shit Edited December 11, 2007 by Twigz Quote Fear The Quack! Audiobahnaholic
I must agree with twigz on this one. I mean look at Soulja Boy. He's a hit lately and if you go buy his album EVERY song on it has been out for atleast a year but all the mainstreamers have never heard it. If it wasn't for Soundclick.com and bootlegging Soulja Boy would still be underground. I hate this crap. Also, for everyone who likes Soulja Boy he was cool in late 2005-2006 NOT NOW!!!! /Rant Quote HU: JVC KD-AVX1Speakers: Stock BlazerSub: 2 Mass Destruction Car Audio Sidewinder 12"Amp: Orion HCCA-D1200 @ 1ohm (600 RMS)Box: 3.0 cubes tuned to

Godsmack
I would like to thank Lars Ullrich for all of this. If it wasn't for him and a college kid making Napster we wouldn't be here now. These over paid douchebags need to get in touch with reality. You jack up the ticket prices on us, charge us WAY too much over the actual cost of making a CD, sell ur shit to iTunes for 99 cents a song, and then have the balls to say "copying a cd to ur iPod is stealing?? Okay if thats the case lemme get this staright. If you have the ingrediants for a cocktail like mudslides and make your own instead of buying the mixer and adding booze that would be stealing right? I am damn near the point of swearing off almost all music. J Quote "No poor dumb bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He did it by making the other poor dumb bastard for his country."
