Twostrokeking
So I know that in a car you are supposed to have port and subs back unless you are sealed off. Why is that? and a future plan of mine is to lose the back seat and do 2 15's ported. What are the benefits of port position a long with sub position? port up subs up? subs forward with port? Can you please explain to me why certain positions are louder. Landon75
Port and subs facing back is mostly for trunk cars I beleive. It's so the subs can load of of something before they fire into the cabin. Otherwise if if it's not sealed forward it sounds like poo most of the time(in trunk cars) In trucks I see mostly subs up port up from build logs. I think it just depends on the truck and acoustics it's something you have to test to see what's best, unless someone has already did it and could tell you.
