Coswand Posted October 29, 2012 Report Share Posted October 29, 2012 Hello ppl, few weeks ago i was planning get a new car audio system, my first was 2 Kenwood 12" 400 Rms Each in a sealed box, with a same brand amp @500 Rms. and stock mids, in a Trailblazer 2005. Now I start my other setup with an amplifier hifonics brz 2400.1D, 1 yellow top Optima, a Big Three upgrade, mids and highs i'll decide it later, But i really need some advices to grab a good pair, or a single subwoofer, my budget is 400 dlls, just for subwoofers, what would you recommend? OP, with 2400w, you're getting veeeeery close to high output alternator territory. you WILL need agm batteries. no if, and, or buts about it. Run the brz @ 2.0 ohms an u could Just do that until u get better electrical an bigger amp. My build 98 s10 2.2 3 american bass HD 15s with psi soft parts. SHCA 2/0 wire SHCA 1/0 to 2/0 adapters Atomic AT-3000.1 Lots of sound deadner new mids an highs, still debating on what to do. A few Deka g31 batts.
