With the multitude of victims in your family have the doctors linked it to anything genetic? There's some hereditary cancers out there that can show up at just about any age, so I bring it up in case you want to be safe. I would be astounded if the doctors had not mentioned/answered this yet. Many prayers for you man, I do truly hope with all the might and power in every single cell, no, every single atom, in my body that your niece destroys this cancer and goes on to live an amazing life, there is almost nothing more detrimental in my head than a child with cancer, how unfair and difficult it must be. It makes me truly sick when I think about the way we take our basic health for granted, all the while kids like your niece are struggling to live days and weeks at a time, her strength is honestly humbling. I blame all the natural gas drilling . There's thousands and thousands of drill sites in north la . If you looks from google satellites you can see them. Driving around you don't! I never knew this and live here. Sure you see em here and there but I've learned for everyone you see you need to ad about a dozen or more than your not seeing. My stepsons cancer wAs caused from somtbing he was exposed too.
