I set mine to track three after I find HU max volume. That way it will only soft clip at full tilt. For me track 5 is too much. Lp supposed to be all the way up?? Mines at half is it safe to have it all the way up? Not meaning to thread jack but I couldn't use a dd1 cuz I don't have one yet but I did mine like this. Jessica Posted February 17, 2014 Report Share Posted February 17, 2014 try this Get a digital multimeter Set it to a/c volts Lets say you want a 80hz lpf. Get a 81 or 82hz test track, this doesnt have to be perfect because that is almost impossible without a cc-1 or o-scope. Unhook your subs, connect the MM to the speaker outputs. Play your test track at a reasonable volume and you get a voltage reading on the meter. Turn the LPF up until you don;t see a change in voltage, turn it down until it just starts to drop, turn it back up till it just stops going up. That will get you pretty damn close to 80hz.
