YukonDCXL
I just ordered a d3100 and will be getting another one soon. Right now I am running 2 DC 3.5ks and 3 deka 665mf ( plus upfront battery)these are not agm but my question is will 1 d3100 be equivalent or better then all 3 of my dekas and also should I remove the dekas or run this with them until I get my next xs? redwolf2
Repost so you get bumped up. Saw that Look up the ratings of the batteries. 3 vs 1, I think your 3 is greater than the 1. I also think you should look into an isolator to isolate your d3100s from your regular batteries so you don't run into issues
YukonDCXL
Yeah I think I posted the other one in the wrong section. I'll look into it thanks. What issues would I run into?
YukonDCXL
And do you mean an isolator for only if I run the new xs with my dekas?
redwolf2
Batteries will try to level out if they're connected.... Your d3100 will be a lot more of everything than your standard battery. It's un needed stress pushing back and forth. Do some research (using Google or the search bar) and I'm sure you'll find out everything you need.
redwolf2
And do you mean an isolator for only if I run the new xs with my dekas? Yes. Or with your starting battery. (Me for example, running 2 identical AGMs in my truck) vs 1 AGM and one regular
