YukonDCXL
Would it be a bad idea to use two different brand power wires? I want to run a second run of 1/0 to my back battery and I have the wire but it is a different brand and I dont think it has as much copper. MrSkippyJ
No but what makes you think it doesn't have as much copper? Broke_Audio_Addict
Inb4 the shok video. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. YukonDCXL
Because it is called raptor wire and I looked it up while back and I remember reading it was low on ofc compared to my cadence wire. So adding it will help?

Rich Schenk
Add it for now it will help better then just one run of 1/0. I had in my Tiburon 2 runs of different wire worked fine. hondakid1996
Even if the wire is only good for say, 150 amps, that's still 150 more amps front to back than you can support now. I don't see it being an issue.
YukonDCXL
I just didn't know since electricity fallows the path of least resistance that it would only fallow through the one with more ofc.
hondakid1996
As far as I know electricity will flow thru any connection, unless the resistance is high enough to completely stop it. The raptor wire may have more voltage drop across it and carry fewer amps, but it'll still get some extra power front to back.
