You can't make any more power than the amplifier is capable of, but dual inputs give it the best chance at making that power. All it's doing is making the path for the electricity coming from the source to the amplifier bigger and less restricted.

Energy takes the least path of resistance. Better paths to follow means better performance.

Which is why most amplifier upgrades consist of building new/better ground traces within the amplifier voltage paths ...
