YukonDCXL
On my stereo I do not have the option to turn the lpf off so I turned it all the way up and then tuned lpf on the amp using the cc1... is this the correct way?
Jhunt94
yeah. you can use either one. Using the lpf on the amp (to me) is better because, if you disconnect your batt then there goes all of the settings on the hu, so you wouldn't have to worry if you use the one on the amp. 2007 Ford F-150 Reg. YukonDCXL
I here ya, but did I tune my amp the proper way by having the deck on its highest setting or does it not matter where the deck is set when you do this?
Kyblack76
your deck does not have a full pass on the sub out????? damn.. welcome to 2002 edit, if your using both the deck cut off and the amp, then combine BOTH slopes... if they are both sloped at 12db, youll be at 24db per octive. Jhunt94
there is a light one the CC-1 that will turn red when the level is too high, if you see red then back it down until it's green or blue (I can't remember). If you had your volume all the way up and never saw that then you should be good. 2007 Ford F-150 Reg. Cab. Keep that in mind This is over my head. I just turned the deck to 125hz and then tuned the amp the way the direction say. I got it calibrated so I am guessing the cc1 read 80hz... am I good?
