ptcary
you really do some nice work. Everything looks clean, great job. Thanks!, I promised myself that this one will be very simple compared to the PT, so far so good! I am trying to take it slowly and be patient with it. It's so much easier having this second car, so I can drive the other when one is apart for mods. I used to drive the PT to work with no passenger seat and no interior in it when it was my only car, coworkers always asked me if it was stolen/stripped and I got it back or something. ptcary
Mazda box started. It's 3/4" Birch ply. Resin and fiberglass for the brown carpet are next, then the whole thing will probably get black carpet. It's Eclipse factory specs, not my design. Port is tuned to 25hz and it is flat all the way up to 100hz. Sub is an Eclipse 10" DVC rated 450 rms, I'll run it 2 ohms from an Eclipse 480w RMS mono amp that will end up flush mounted in the drivers side of the trunk. A few more pics, still a ways to go, and I need to start ordering wiring for the amp. ptcary
Resined the carpet, plan to do 3-4 layers of glass on it. I want to flush mount the amp on the drivers side of the trunk, started with making the beauty panel, now I need to order some carpet. Benji0687
PT sub box looks SOOOO much better without the handicap handrails on the box! 1989 Chevy Caprice Classic350ci V8 High Performance JVC Arsenal HU JL XR series components Infinity Reference 6x9s Pioneer Premier 4-Channel Clarion 2-Channel Rockford Fosgate Series 1 2-Channel Fusion 2000.1D MTX Crossover RF, Knu, Kicker, and Monster wiring NVX VCW 12in. ptcary
Replaced the PTs fans with two Thermaltake LED fans. In case you guys have not seen these yet, they look very cool. They flash the Thermaltake logo and the measured temperature in celsius, (not sure why no farenheit). They do make one that you can upload your own messages to. These are $6.90 at Frys electronics in the computer section.
