What Will Happen Running A 2ohm Stable Amp At 0.5 Ohm?

Recommended Posts

Your Stetsom is a monster Class D with the mightiest FETs money can buy.

If his is 2 ohm it's probably either a Kicker (in which case it'll blow the F up) or it's a 2 channel Class A/B that he's bridging into a 1 ohm load (in which case it will BLOW THE F RIGHT UP)

?

You compare the output FETs in those mad Brazilian amps with the IRFP360LCs in Zenons (including your SAZ-3000D's) and they make the 360's look weak as pigshit :( Not that they are, just the Stetsoms/Bandas/Soundigitals have the FETs from nam...

lol, the responses it this thread are pretty funny.

honestly, don't do it, and if you do, you need to get ALOt of batt back-up... and a fan for that amp...

even then i wouldn't do it still.

once the magic smoke gets out its really hard to get back in

but, if you have an egg ready, it may make a sweet youtube video, lol

chances are itll just pop and go in protect, or just not turn on....and if the protect sucks or is bypassed, itll blow the eff up
