bass_addict07
ok so i got a pretty confusing ? should i do 2 15" fi btls running off 2 audioque 2200ds or should i do 4 alpine type r 15"s running off 2 audioque 2200ds? the reason its confusing is because they are both around the same price and i have had good experiences from my type r. but i do know 4 type r 15"s will be cone area but btls are juss beastly so thats why i cant decide any input? 97 exploder xlt2 18" obsidian audio daul 2 v2s1 sundown audio saz1500d at .5 ohm2 sets of alpine type r components1 MB quart onyx 125.4alpine cda-98871 mike singer 250 amp altxs d3400 in the backall kicker wiringBIG 3singer resonance killer sound deadner throughout

hotshot27
I'd personally go with the Type R's, although it depends all on how much room you want to give up and what kind of results you are looking for. xX MocK
I say go TypeRs More cone area and it would get louder without a doubt more than the BTLs. BTLs are beastly tho/

EricR
same power, type r's but if you got a pair of 3500's then i would get the btl's i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? wL<3bass
I'd take two 15" BTLs over the type R.....thats just me though....but why not two 18" BTLs vs 4 15" type Rs?
