bass_addict07
ok so theres this guy on youtube who has had several different sick systems and one of them was two 12" alpine type rs, each running to a audioque 2200d at .5 ohms. and another was two 12" type rs running off of a incriminator audio 40.1 and another was two 15" type rs running off of an american bass 500.1 how can they hold up and can a audioque 2200d even go to .5 ohms? heres the vid links http://www.youtube.com/user/Skip01#p/u/9/i2gpXqqVo6g http://www.youtube.com/user/Skip01#p/u/16/x2Zpg5Ij9cM http://www.youtube.com/user/Skip01#p/u/21/7vE9gjJFqHE 97 exploder xlt2 18" obsidian audio daul 2 v2s1 sundown audio saz1500d at .5 ohm2 sets of alpine type r components1 MB quart onyx 125.4alpine cda-98871 mike singer 250 amp altxs d3400 in the backall kicker wiringBIG 3singer resonance killer sound deadner throughout
Billpoonmudding25
yes an audioque can be wired down to .5 but it all depends on your electrical system and how well your box is built to get it down to that.

mlstrass
type r's have been known to take 2k for short period of time they won't take that power for long in a daily set up, but in the right enclosure they can get very loud and take a lot of power for metering... Guest
why are you comparing a type R to an HDC3? 2 totally different woofers. the R's wouldnt hold a chance to any of those things you listed for a daily setup.
