mikey634
The more hardener you put, it become hard quickly. wouldn't recommend doing it like this hehe. Polyester resin is pretty cheap and you can use it for fiberglassing, and its more forgiving then epoxy resin for mixing of hardener / resin. If you're going to use the bondo resin from home depot keep in mind it has a wax in it that will rise to the top with curing, so every time the resin dries you have to sand it down pretty good in order to put more layers on or the fiberglass will be weak and not stick. So you will need: - fiberglass mat or cloth - resin + resin hardener (MEKP) - something to mix it in, and mix it with - paint brushes to apply to fiberglass safety wise: - latex gloves cause resin is toxic - respirator, fumes can give you a headache - talc / baby powder, cause when you sand fiberglass it will make your un-powdered skin itch like crazy
tlee2
make sure you wear gloves or it will be the messiest shit you ever done. especially when you try to touch the cloth or the mat with resin on your hands. anything for that matter 6 Sundown X 15s 2 Sundown NS1 V2s C Pillar 4th order Bagged Suburban on 24s http://youtube.com/tlee333

It become difficult to clean on your shirt and pants.. Doing fiberglass work is messy and sratchy..
