Since i cant get a real pic till later, here's a paint version.

You could kinda stretch it out so it's only a gentle curve instead of 3 sharp ones. Then it should probably go through, or you would be able to get something through to pull it through.

Get yourself a few A/C duct zip ties from home depot or lowes.

They work excellent for fishing wires through tight spots. They are flexible yet stiff depending on where you need them to maneuver. They are plastic, so no stabbing through your rubber grommets when you don't want it to.

wow, I was getting worried... I am glad someone said something without ghetto rigging it... metal has a tendency to go through rubber

Further if your vehicle is like the door grommet I did on a 2000 accord, carefully pull the rubber from around the plastic cup that terminates the rubber boot at the door and the jam, then carefully remove the plastic retaining cup that holds the grommet to the door and jam , usually has four clips that expand outwards (inwards to the vehicle body) remove the interior kick panel and follow the wires down to the junction box and disconnect, then pull it out of the jam and run your wires.

if you have the molex plugs at the grommet itself, then you can always repin it instead of drilling holes through the molex, as they usually always have openings... look at the audi RS4 in the gallery http://www.northolms...om-audio-system might cost you $10 bucks extra, but you can walk away saying you aren't a ghetto hack...

i just remembered a way i wired some lights at my house, might work for this. feed some string into one end of the grommet then take your shop vac to the other end. then pull the wire through just like the hanger idea.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

silicone spray lube also works great for stuff like this

and if you are running more than one speaker wire just do one to start then duct tape the other to the one you just ran through and pull it more

its really just patience

good luck! :)

This is prolly the best suggestion yet.

When pulling huge amounts of wires through conduit electricians use a "lube" to make them glide easier.

When I did the door speakers on my Dakota the drivers side went real easy but the passengers side I spent 30 minutes or more trying to fish that through.

Finally I just popped the accordion boot out and unplugged the connectors and fished the wire through.

Plug the wire harness back in and pooped the boot back in place.

Just keep it simple. pop both ends of it out, one side out of the door and the other from the car. Its tight, but get it as straight as you can and push a wire hanger through it. once its in, tape your wire to the end real good and pull it on through. Its a little difficult sometimes because of the tight space your working in but it works fine. I do it every time I install a 4 channel.
