Loudcivic Posted August 14, 2010 Report Share Posted August 14, 2010 you want the old ca glue off but you dont want the basket really smooth were your gonna glue. you want it to be a little rough so the glue can bond with the metal basket good. maybe take a little eighty grit sand paper and rough it up a little bit. the accel is only for the spider and just use the ca glue by itself on the surround and dustcap. on the screws that hold the basket to the motor you should put a little over the screws and you can spray the accel on those. you dont want the screws to back out at all. thats about it and thats ho i just did my recone with what i just told you 2015 silverado crew cab nothing atm but soon... Pauliesnite93 Posted August 14, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2010 uh ya i founded out why the sub screwed up it. u know where the top manget mounts to the top of the motor metel peace. well the glue must have let lose there and shifted the motor to shove the pole in the middle of the voise coil to one side. how do i fix this or have some one to fix it i am completle dumfounded.
