small bubble wrap sound coming from speakers?

Recommended Posts

I put my old inflnity kappas back in, and now at like normal listening volume it sounds like someone has wad of bubble wrap in their hands and is crunching it up. wires are tight, any connection was soldered and elec taped. any ideas? :/

not sure how it would be a ground? Would that cause that sort of noise? I can post a video too.

Also while tryin to film i blew the fuse up front. I'm guessing that may have contributed with the HU not getting enough power. That fise was really shitty/rusted from something. I checked all the others and they seemed great, but this one was kinda messed up.

there might be a little gremlin type creature crumpling up some bubble wrap in your speaker just to annoy you :pardon:

04 Monochrome LT Chevy Tahoe

-A few wires, half a speaker, some watts

-All Black 6's

-Paint to Match, SS Bumper, Black grills.

-HID'ed and LED'ed

-A few performance enhancers

I have two nice subs for sale, but I am not allowed to help my fellow forum members by offering it to them for a nice price via my signature, sorry

Lol. It still does it rarely now, but it's coming from 1 speaker that also has the lead slapping the cone ever so slightly. Good thing I didnt sell these yea? All these problems came once i hooked em back up.. Like i said too, was tryin to figure it out and the Hu just shut off, blew the fuse under the hood.
