Nope, I just got back into boating a few years ago (grew up sailing till I was 15). The wife and her dad had a 1964 Chris, but we picked up our boat (the wife, myself, and my father in law share it) a couple years back. It's a great boat now that we cleaned it up, did new canvas (mother in law rocked it) and redid the interior. It's a 1977 31' Silverton We normally hang in the Detroit River and the mouth of Erie or St. Clair... We make one or two trips a year, but that's about it. The boat is good on gas (about 10-14 gph), but still burning up a tank is big money.
